About Denise Farahmand | Life Coach

I lived a fairy tale life

I grew up in idyllic Beverly Hills, married the love of my life, had three beautiful kids, and worked in the family real estate business—perfect, right?!

But that’s not the whole story, nor the story you're here for.

At the age of 41, I lost my husband of 17 years to cancer after having endured four years of treatments, doctor visits, surgeries, and multiple “what-if” and “let’s see how this goes” scenarios.

Everything that I had planned or dreamt of for my life ceased to exist once my husband died. My life became an endless cycle of extreme confusion and uncertainty.

I tried hard to maintain normalcy, grieve, help my kids grieve and heal, work, maintain a house, etc., and I just felt that my life was drowning me.

The hardest realization was accepting that I was no longer the same person, yet I was trying to live what felt like a past life, and it wasn’t working!

It was time for me to step into my new reality

And I needed to embrace—I mean fully love and embrace—all parts of myself to live in this new reality.

There were parts of me that were long buried underneath marriage, motherhood, caregiving, and grieving that needed to be deliberately and purposefully recreated for me to heal and move forward.

Throughout my journey over the last decade, I have explored various methods of growth and healing, including conventional and group therapy, spiritual healing, intense workshops, religious practices, books, podcasts, boxing, yoga, and of course, lots of uncontrollable crying.

About Denise Farahmand | Life Coach

These approaches were helpful, but still it was not until I experienced one-on-one personal coaching that I was able to embrace my identity fully and truly cultivate the life I wanted.

This powerful coaching enabled me to put everything I had learned and experienced into action, creating a life filled with inspiration, confidence, authenticity, peace, and joy.
